We are delighted to announce that Erin Stewart from the MFA in Professional Acting has been awarded the Sir John Gielgud Bursary Award.
This award commemorates the life and work of Sir John Gielgud who was patron of DSL during his lifetime.
DSL strives to support its students by nominating actors for external bursaries who demonstrate exceptional talent and attitude to training and would benefit from additional funding. We hope that this award will assist Erin to reach her full potential in her graduating year.
‘It’s such a privilege to receive this bursary from the Sir John Gielgud Charitable Trust. It will truly transform my graduate year and support me as I enter the industry, and for that I’m immensely grateful – both to the Trust and to DSL for nominating me. I have felt, and continue to feel, so supported by this school, and this is just a huge honour.’ Erin Stewart, MFA in Professional Acting with Independent Production
