BA (Hons) Professional Acting student wins Lillian Baylis Award

RVH logoLillian Baylis took control of the Old Vic Theatre in 1912 and became an influential figure in theatre, predominantly for her devotion to making quality theatre accessible to everyone, a cause which is continued to this day by The Royal Victoria Hall Foundation.

The foundation, named after the theatre under Emma Cons’ management in the 1870s, is now partly funded by charitable donations, and the invested proceeds of the sale of The Old Vic in 1982.It exists to support theatrical productions in need of financial aid, increasing underrepresented audiences in theatre and to give financial support to promising students attending accredited drama schools in London.

It is a huge achievement to be recognised for this award and all at Drama Studio London wish to congratulate Eleri.
