Sebastian Harcombe joins DSL as Artistic Director of Degree Studies

We are really pleased to announce that Seb Harcombe will be joining Drama Studio London later this month as our new Artistic Director of Degree Studies.

Seb is very well known in the industry as an actor, director and teacher.

Seb was raised in the Rhondda valley, south Wales, and originally read music at London University - but changed direction to study acting at RADA, winning the Robert Donat prize for classical acting upon graduation. After 15 years of performing leading roles in major UK theatres and companies (including the National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company) he became a teacher and director.
In the former capacity he has been Head of Acting and Director of BA Acting at both RADA and Drama Centre London. He has also been a freelance acting teacher/project director/workshop leader @ the Royal Academy of Music, Institute of Arts Barcelona, Royal College of Music, Manchester School of Theatre, The Globe Theatre, Welsh College of Music and Drama, National Opera Studio, The Actors Centre, Beijing Central Academy of Drama,  Vakhtangov Theatre Moscow, Birkbeck University, Trinity Laban, UNESCO and the BBC.

His wealth of experience, his passion for good acting and his delight in working with emerging talent will help the team steer the training at DSL to new heights and further enhance DSL’s growing reputation.
